Sweet Shoppe Saturday 8/17

A Beautiful Mess Vol. 3

Hi Everyone!

Well, the last week of summer is upon us in my neck of the woods.  The beginning of a new school year seems more like my fresh start "new year" than January does.  Fall is my favorite season, so each August/September, I find myself hungry for change and excited about things that are coming.  Unfortunately, for right now, I'm left to finish up a few summer projects before I can dive in to my fun fall stuff.  I've got some fun things on the schedule design-wise as well as a Vegas vacation with the other Sweet Shoppe girls in October.  So, I'm really looking forward to what lies ahead!

This week, I decided to do another set of my A Beautiful Mess papers.  These things are so fun to create!  I saw this color scheme on Pinterest and just couldn't wait to make some lovely artsy papers with it.  I hope you love it as much as I do!

I even felt inspired to scrap with these myself.  After we surprised my oldest daughter with a Taylor Swift meet & greet last week (she's a HUGE fan), I journaled the whole story so that I wouldn't forget a single detail.  It ended up being 7 pages long!  So rather than trying to fit that on a layout, I opted to do a series of simpler pages, and I'll just keep the journaling separate.  This one paper in the kit just seemed like the perfect choice to go along with my A Marvelous Tune kit to scrap the big event!

Ok, that's all I've got for this week!  I'm excited about a special collab that I've got planned for next week.  I'm working with one of my oldest and dearest friends that I've collabed with a few times over the years.  It's been a long time since we've worked together, but I'm already loving the direction this kit is taking!  Can't wait to share it with you!
