Sweet Shoppe Saturday 12/8/12

Happy Saturday!

If you've been a fan of Sweet Shoppe for a while, you know we like to collab with each other a lot. Maybe you've wondered how we decide who we're going to work with, when, and what we'll design.

Well, this month, I have at least 3 (possibly 4) collabs with my fellow Sweet Shoppe Designers coming your way, so I thought now would be a good time to give you a little glimpse into how some of these collabs come to be.

In this particular case, Shawna & I were emailing about something completely unrelated to designing this past week, and Erica's name came up. Shawna says, "Isn't Erica awesome?" And I said, "She is! You know, we should do a triple dip!" Shawna was on board, so we emailed Erica, and the next thing you know... we're collabing this week! We each tossed around some ideas and inspiration for kits, and then Shawna was kind enough to put those things together in a visual art board for us so that we could get a feel for where we wanted this kit to go.

Both of these girls are SO amazingly easy to work with, so this kit came together quickly and beautifully. I hope you love it as much as we do, and I think it's safe to say that this may be the first of many from us!

Here are just a few inspiring samples from our teams! If you want to see even more, be sure to check out the facebook gallery for this kit here!

Also, don't forget for the month of December, we are switching out our Bargain Bites section weekly to give you the chance to pick up some of our very favorite treats for an incredible 50% off!

Here are my 2 offerings for this week. Hurry though! These will only be up a few more days, and then I'll be replacing them with 2 more goodies!

Still need a little encouragement? Check out the facebook albums for Ace In The Hole & Don't Shoot Your Eye Out for lots of samples!

That's it for this week! Check back next week when I'll have another collab AND a solo kit that completely stretched me out of my comfort zone! Until then, have a great week!
