Hybrid Highlight!

I can't believe we are ten days into the month of February already! Valentine's Day is just a mere four days away! This time of year is always a busy one for me, between making cards for my daughter's preschool class and making gifts for the teachers, and making various other gifts for the special people in my life.

I love making hybrid projects that hold treats. I did a couple of really different ones this year with two of Libby's kits.

The first one I created is a matchbook holder using Libby's kit, Olive Juice. It's sized to hold one Ghirardelli chocolate square. And who doesn't love chocolate, especially on Valentine's Day?

The second project I created was a bit different. I loved Libby's science-themed kit, Bunsen & Beaker (Could Libby's kits BE named any better?!). This kit was just screaming for a set of test tubes to hold chocolate M&Ms, so I created a quick and easy holder using the fabulous word art that comes in the kit. I really like how this one turned out.

So there you have it! Two quick and easy ideas for Valentine's Day gifts for your sweetie!
