Well, this is it. My last day of vacation. I'd just like to state, for the record, that I'd have NO problem being a SAHM again. I totally miss the days of getting Kendra off to school then coming home to clean (or buy groceries or scrapbook or whatever) until it was time to volunteer in her class. But alas, I'm afraid those days are gone for good.
So, we ordered pizza for lunch today as we often do when we get together with my in-laws. This Tuesday will be 8 years since Logan died, and pizza was his favorite. So, when we're together on special days when normal people are having big fancy meals, we usually order pizza in his memory.
Today, I ordered online through Domino's like I've done many times before. Let me start by saying that the fine print on their site cracks me up. "You got 30" is just an "estimate" and not a "guarantee" when it comes to delivery time. Well, today, it took an hour and a half to get my order. Because I'd ordered online, I was tracking my order and saw that it had been completed and boxed up a full HOUR before it was delivered. So, I called the restaurant (which ticks me off because it defeats the whole point of online ordering) and ended up getting our order for free as well as a discount off our next purchase. So, while I wasn't happy with the cold pizza, I felt they did a great job of resolving the issue. (And honestly, I've never had this problem with them before, so I think it was a flukey thing).
And so ends my daily vacation blogging. Thanks to those of you who have been reading each day... I can't believe I actually had enough to talk about. Of course, now Stephanie's just going to bug me to update it more frequently since I've proven that I can. Obviously I didn't think this through...
Happy Easter everyone!
