I just realized that tomorrow is ONE YEAR since I did my first digi page! I can't even believe it's been that long. I'd paper scrapped for nearly 8 years before going digi, and I only tried digi because a friend was writing an article about "facing your scrapbooking fears." I had told her I'd do a layout with a technique that I was "afraid of," and digi seemed like a good idea.
I remember vividly emailing Kathy Moore that morning and asking for a tutorial and a place to download a free kit. I said that I didn't want to put any money into it because this was a one time thing... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! I was so naive. She sent me a Theresa Hernandez tutorial and a link to Shabby Princess, and the rest is history! LOL!
I just have to say how HAPPY I am that I made the switch. I know that I wouldn't have done a fraction of the layouts I did this past year if I was still working with paper. I realize that digi isn't for everyone, but it has been the perfect solution for me.
Just for kicks, here's my very first digi page. I was SO proud of this thing.
And here are a couple I've done this weekend. :)
