Baseball, YouTube, and the 4th of July

Happy Sunday!

Normally, by this point in the week, I'm bummed because I know that I'll be heading back to work soon. BUT this week, I'm excited because I'm only working 2 days. Our office is closed Wed/Thurs for the 4th of July (and we're always closed on Fridays). So, I'm going to enjoy a little much-needed R&R. We've got lots of plans -- major league baseball, amusement park, parade, BBQ, hanging out with friends. So, I should have LOTS of photos to scrap! :)

Speaking of scrapping... yesterday, I made a fun hybrid project using Dani's new Funky Free kit. Since Taylor isn't playing baseball right now, I decided to get my baseball fix by making a photo cube. It was totally easy. I bought the cube at Michael's, created 6 mini layouts digitally, and then I put them inside the cube.

And it's time for another round of Sweet Shoppe's From Our Blog to Yours. :) This week, we were to write about our 4th of July plans (see above) and link to one of our favorite YouTube videos. Here's one that my friend Jennifer shared recently. I've watched it 3 times now, and I think it's just as cool as the first time I saw it. I'm going to try to embed the image here, but the last time I did that, it didn't show up on IE (worked fine in Firefox). So, if you can't see it, here's a link.

I had no idea (until now) that Taylor chose not to play this season. I totally understand why. So glad to see this amazing project from you. I am completely inispired!
