Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, I realize I've now posted 2 days in a row. Don't get used to it.

I just wanted to wish all my friends a very Happy Thanksgiving holiday. I thought I'd share a Thanksgiving page I did just a couple of weeks ago. Ironically, this page is all about our Thanksgiving traditions, and yet this year, we aren't following any of them.

Marti isn't up to traveling or eating yet, so we're staying home instead of going to his parents' house. Kendra was super bummed about the thought of not having a special dinner, so I made a very small meal for just our family. And we're going to put our Christmas tree up tonight instead of tomorrow like we usually do.

At this point, I'm so thankful that my family is home and (somewhat) healthy that I'm completely willing to disregard tradition. We'll just try again next year.

Update on my Christmas shopping... I'm almost finished now! of course, the fact that it's a very slim Christmas is helping tremendously. When you buy fewer presents, it doesn't take as long to finish. I only have a couple more things to pick up for the kids and for my secret pal at work. Marti and I aren't exchanging gifts, but I do need to take the kids to get something for him.

And I finished addressing Christmas cards this morning. I love getting things finished early!

Now, I'm off to work on yet another Christmas project!

Hi Libby,

I stumbled on your blog today, just wanted to say hi and wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving weekend.

I read your journaling about Bell's Palsy. I loved that LO. My MIL got Bell's last Januray and is still hoping to gain more feeling back in her face. She still get tired a lot. I was happy to hear your story, gave me hope for her recovery.

Have a beautiful weekend. LOVED your Thanksgiving LO too!!

I hate that with everything you have going on, you are still further ahead than me! Take it easy and I'm sure that you had a nice holiday, even if it was a little different. :)
