What I'm Reading

Besides scrapbooking and hanging out online, my favorite pastime is reading. I'm not an exceptionally fast reader because I tend to like to make the stories last as long as possible. I'll go days in between reading, and sometimes I'll read no more than a chapter or two at a time.

I try to avoid books that require a lot of deep-thinking on my part. I have enough seriousness in my life, that I like a lot of fluff in my reading. Because of this, some of my favorite authors are Danielle Steel and Fern Michaels. I also love the Harry Potter and Left Behind series.

I've avoided reading The Da Vinci Code for a while now because it appears to be too much of a deep-thinker for me. I have nothing to base that decision on because I haven't been interested enough to even find out what it's about. But with all the movie hype, I finally broke down and have started reading it. I'm only about 5 chapters into it right now, so it's really too soon to form an opinion. I'll admit that it's been entertaining so far though. Stay tuned for a full review (whenever I eventually get around to finishing it).
